This heavy-duty manual hydraulic spring compressor has a capacity of 5 tonnes. It is a powerful way to disassemble and maintain Macpherson-type shock absorbers without the need for electric or air devices. The strut leg vice is compatible with awkward struts – avoiding the use of additional adaptors too. The top arms are fully independent and have vertical and horizontal movement. The clamps and yolks securely grip a very wide range of spring configurations and diameters, to provide excellent coverage. This spring compressor is not only extremely versatile, but also very robust with an all-steel construction and a safety cage for securely clamping and compressing coil spring. It is easy to operate, and it stands at a workable operating height for the user. The sturdy wheels provide full mobility to the job, and it also makes the unit easier to store when not in use. Supplied with three interchangeable yolks, fixing jaw and hydraulic pump handle.
