Embroidery or Heat Press Printing?

Embroidery is generally the best branding option for corporate uniform such as polos, business shirts, jumpers, softshell jackets etc.

Embroidery will usually outlast both the garment and Heat Press Printing. Embroidery has the same unit price regardless of quantity.

With Heat Press Printing, the more you require, the cheaper the unit cost.

If pockets are embroidered, the pocket will be stitched through and generally be unusable afterwards.

A large artwork on the back will be better printed than embroidered (a high stitch count is very heavy and may snag a light weight garment) and will be POA.

Costs and Artwork

All our embroidery prices include left breast embroidery of a logo and up to 3 lines of text.

Any extra embroidery (any area in addition to left breast) such as right breast, sleeve or collar, will incur an additional £5 embroidery charge per location.

A one off £15 artwork fee applies to new logos (change of text such as names will not incur a new artwork charge).

Please contact your rep for existing Group artwork. We hold artwork for many Groups including Holiday Inn, DoubleTree by Hilton, Crowne Plaza, and Marriott.

Costs for Heat Press also vary depending on the size of the transfer and quantity of the garment required.

Apart from stock printing, such as First Aider or Fire Warden, please contact us for a price.

Additional information

Generally you will receive full artwork approval within 24-48 hours after placing your order.

Delivery for embroidery is approx 7-10 day after artwork approval.

Delivery for printing depends on quantity and you will be notified of an estimated date after artwork approval.
